Plan Design Consultation
Consultation services are provided at no charge. This has been a long-standing policy of our firm. Our consultants listen to employers to learn their short and long term objectives. This information is vital to the design of an ideal plan. A plan can be designed to maximize the benefit to the owners and key personnel or designed to benefit all employees equally. A plan can also be designed to avoid certain discrimination testing.
Annual Valuation Reporting
Our annual valuation of the plan assets is a reconciliation of the activity during the plan year and determines the data that must be reported to the IRS.
Required discrimination testing is performed and if failure occurs, we advise the employer as to the appropriate corrective action.
Annual Government Filings
Our firm prepares and assists the employer in electronically filing the governmental forms required by the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor (DOL).
As a prototype document sponsor, we can provide any type of document necessary, from standardized to individually designed formats. Additionally, we "maintain" the document, updating it as necessary so that it always complies with IRS regulations.
Processing paperwork is one more burden an employer doesn't need. We assume the responsibility for assisting plan participants with processing transactions, acting as a liaison between the participant and the investment company. Whether the transaction is a loan, hardship withdrawal, in-service withdrawal, distribution, enrollment, etc., we provide guidance, review, submission, and follow up.
